December Glossybox!

Although i was late in received this month's glossybox it definitely made up for it when i got it. In my opinion it is the best box i have received from them. To start off the box is red which was a very pleasant suprise and i prefer it to original

The first product that caught my eye was the Yogi Flow foaming shower gel and may i just say how big this bottle actually is, i was surprised it fit into the box. It claims to 'leave skin silky soft and sooth' which is a big attraction to me as i'm always wanting smooth skin especially in winter when my skin tends to get a bit dryer
Full Size £6.50/200ml

The second thing i noticed is the Cargo Cosmetics classic lip gloss which is in a very suitable colour for me as it is very rare when i do go for a bold lip colour so this subtle gloss is perfect for me and i'm looking forward to using it
Full Size £10.00

The colour is a pretty everyday pale pink colour put not too pale so that it still looks natural with shimmer

This is probably my favourite thing in the whole box and it's the Deborah Lipmann 'Razzle Dazzle mini nail polish'

The colour is a gorgeous deep red/purple with glitter in which is perfect for this time of year!
Full Size £16.00

It also came with a sachet of nail remover pad which is specifically designed for glitter nail polishes which could come in useful because i always find i spend ages getting glitter nail polishes off with normal nail varnish remover
Full Size £14.00/ Pack of 6 removers

The next product is the MeMeMe face moisturing base that's perfect for under make up i'm always up for a new primer that will keep my make up looking fresh and it will keep it on during the day and i'm hoping this will be the one

As soon as i opened this the freshly lemon zing was the first thing i noticed about it and both me and my mum thought it smelt delicious and i reckon it would be a very fresh brightening primer
Full Size £15.00/30ml

The last product i got was the Blink and Go Definition mascara which i was very pleased about seen as i was running out of my last mascara and was thrilled that i didn't need to buy a new one

The wand is just your average mascara wand and it claims to give you 'longer, thicker and sexier lashes'
Full Price £14.99/8g

Overall i was very pleased with this Glossybox and i can't wait to try out the products

November Favourites

Once again this month seems to have gone really quickly, but i'm not complaining seen as i get to do my favourites at the end of it.

My first favourite of the month is a cream blush by Mac in the colour Lillicent. I've had this blush for a while now and was obsessed with it when i first got it but after a while i started to buy new products and try new things and it was forgotten about basically but at the start of this month i rediscovered the beauties of this product and how much i love it!

It's a nude pink colour and looks very natural especially because it's a cream formula. As you can tell i have hit pan on it because i love it so much and i will continue to wear this gorgeous colour. I normally apply it with a stippling brush to get the mose flawless finish to it which is why it looks all dotty and disgusting in the pan
£16.99

The next product is a nail paint by Barry M. I love this nail polish so much as it must be one of my all time nail polishes.

I got it in the colour Peach Melba which is the most gorgeous peachy nude and it really complements my skin colour

Another favourite of mine is a product i bought on a whim because i felt like indulging myself. It's the Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner and i've never owened a gel eyeliner before and i must say it made a great first impression.

I got it in the colour Espresso Ink

It's the perfect colour for my eye colour and it glides on beautifully and I've worn it nearly everyday this month and it reckon it lasts me a long time!
£16.50

Swatch of Espresso Ink and Lillicent cream blush

My final product is something i received in my November Glossy box and it's a skin perfecting primer. Not only does the smell of fresh cucumber entice you into this product but the finish it leaves your skin to apply foundation is fantastic and once you've applied foundation you can really see the difference.

It's a creamy white liquid and glides well on to the face

Benefit Creaseless Cream

Many of you may have heard of Benefit's crease less cream eye shadows, they come in a variety of shades ranging from neutrals to deep plums and they have the creamiest consistency and glide on so well.

My packaging as you can see is a bit battered but the packaging is quite nice with the doves on them and it has a glass bottom so they are quite heavy for how small they are.

I use this colour a lot when i'm in a rush to get somewhere. It is applied perfectly with the No.7 flat eye shadow brush. It;s the perfect shimmery taupe colour and perfect for everyday use when blended. If i'm in a real hurry i'll leave it at that but if i have a few minutes to spare i will apply a darker taupe colour in the crease just to give a little bit of definition. Also it does contain some glitter in it but nothing drastic and it's very subtle.

I don't need to wear a primer with this cream eye shadow as it stays throughout the whole day and doesn't budge!

I've had this eye shadow for quite a long time now and although i have made a dent in it i know there is still a lot left to be used despite how regularly i have used it and it will last me a long time

The colour i have is birthday suit and it is quite pigmented and you can either use a sheer layer all over the lid or you can add two coats for a more pigmented finish depending on what look you're going for.

October Favourites

I have five favourites this month which i have been loving and i can't get enough off.
The first is the freederm spot cream i recently purchased along with their moisturizer. My skin has got really bad over the past week but despite this i believe this gel has calmed it down a lot. If i had not used this spot cream i believe my skin would be a lot worse.  It has a very gel like consistency and it's very refreshing on the skin. You can feel it working five minutes after applying it.
The next product is Vaseline that is tinted. When i don't want to wear lipstick i use this to give me a bit of colour and for moisturizing properties.
It's a perfect rosy colour and just gives the right amount of tint to the lips and it's also very inexpensive.
Then there is an eye shadow from MAC in the colour wood winked which is a veluxe pearl. It is one of my most recent editions to my Mac palette and it's the one i have been reaching for the most and it is such an interesting colour and has great pigmentation.
It has some gold shimmers as well that really bring a warmth to the eye lid.
Also a product i have been reaching for everyday is the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer. This concealer has really helped conceal any imperfections and it's also very good and concealing under eye circles.
I have the colour Fair 1
Last of all is the 17 wild curls mascara. This mascara really makes a big impact on my lashes as it not only curls them but adds a lot of volume to my lashes. It lasts all day and it's water proof.
The brush is fairly simple and not too different but it definitely works!

Little Haul

I went down to Bath for the weekend for my auntie's wedding and i did a little shopping. I first went to Lush as the smell was enticing as always and i could smell it from three streets away. I went over to the face masks at first. I'd bought the cupcake face mask previously which is suited for teenage skin but i didn't see any improvements at all so i was put off their face masks for a while but i decided not to judge all their face masks on just one of them so i bought cosmetic warrior.
It is meant to cleanse skin and soothe troublesome skin. It has to be kept in the fridge so when you apply it, it does feel very cooling and refreshing. The smell is very off putting but i over looked the smell and i did see a difference in my skin. Afterwards my skin felt very soft and the day later many of my breakouts had calmed down so i will continue to use it if it keeps on giving good results.
It has a creamy texture but contains small particles which provide some exfoliation for the skin. It costs £5.50 from any Lush shop and if you do suffer from troublesome skin then i would definitely recommend this product if you can over look the smell.
I also bought two soaps, one of which is my favourite Lush soap that i have bought before. It's the rock star soap. It has a very bubbly pink colour and the smell is of a sweet, sugary bubblegum pink that's to die for! It lathers very well and this is my favourite ever soap.
 I got 106g which comes to £3.45
I then went and looked at the Christmas collection and the Snow globe soap didn't appeal to me with appearance but the smell smells just like honey and lemon strepsils which i love and as it's limited edition i bought it.
It has a very true blue colour and the smell is irresistible! I received 148g for £3.78
Both of the soaps i bought
I then went to the Mac counter in Jolly's and i bought three eye shadows in the pan for my mac palette. All three colours
From Left to Right: Brule, Naked Lunch, Woodwinked
Brule, is a creamy-beigne colour with a Satin Finish. I needed a nice highlight and this does the trick
Naked Lunch is a Frost finish and is a pinky champagne colour
Woodwinked is a veluxe pearl and a warm antique brown
